FAQ
Who we’re looking for, agency-related questions, on-boarding questions, what we do–and what we don’t.
Who We’re Looking For
What sort of clients are you looking for?
To be a perfect BonerGhosts client, you need to be a decent human being, have a good work ethic, and be reliable in your communication. You also need to have an actively growing or currently thriving social media presence. Finally, you need a niche, whether that’s the kind of content you produce, your look, or your personality.
If you’re most of those things but not yet all of those things, still apply! No one is actually perfect, except maybe Dolly Parton.
Do you accept faceless/non-lewd/no-BG content/older/etc creators?
Yes.
Agency Questions
Why do I need an agency?
You don’t need an agency. No one needs an agency. But a good one is nice to have!
Why work with an agency?
A good agency is extra pairs of hands for your brand. They free up your days (and nights) where you would normally be chatting and let you focus on content creation and marketing. A good agency will speed your brand’s growth more than you can do on your own.
Remember free time? Remember not having to check your phone or laptop every five minutes for new messages? Remember not staying up two hours longer than you should trying to get a sale? Remember not having to last-minute cancel plans with friends because a whale was on? Yes, those were the days. A good agency can help you get back there.
What income do you guarantee for me? Another agency says they can double or triple my income.
If an agency is telling you that they can double, triple, or whatever your income before they have looked at how you are currently running your page, much less your current earnings, they are talking out of their ass. That’s like a used car lot telling you that they can sell your car for three times what you paid for it before they even know what you actually paid for it… or type of car it is.
Every creator is different, every page is different, the growth potential for each is unique.
What fan sites do you offer management services for?
We currently offer management services for OnlyFans, LoyalFans, and Fansly.
What is your contract like?
Our contract is set up to protect both BonerGhosts and the client’s interests. Unfair contracts are all over this industry and we did not want to add to that morass. If you are considering signing with us, we will review the contract alongside you and answer any questions you have.
How long is your contract for? Some agencies have a one-year term.
Our contract stipulates that you stay with us for a minimum of three months. This is a getting-to-know-you period, where we are learning how best to work with each other. After that three month period, the contract goes month-to-month.
If I decide management isn’t for me, how do I exit my contract with you?
After the initial three months, you can exit your contract at the beginning of the month. We ask for some notice, as we will need to reallocate chatters assigned to your account, but it is not required.
Practically, if you decide that management isn’t for you, you would let us know that you would like to exit your contract on the first of the coming month. If you give us enough notice–which would be lovely–we can spend the time between your notice and your departure bringing you up to speed on where your account is, any new and notable fans, and so on.
What Working with Us is Like
How do you communicate with me?
We are a Slack-happy company, so you will be added to our company Slack and to Slack channels that we use to manage your account. In emergencies, we text.
What is expected from me?
Content-wise, we will need all of your old, sellable content uploaded to Dropbox, whether or not it is already uploaded to your page(s). We will need regular new content, but it is up to you if you want to provide it in bulk once a month or as you create it.
Communication-wise, we will need you to be available to answer questions on Slack. We will try to keep it to a minimum, but it will be somewhat frequent, especially at first, as we get to know your fans and your brand. It is important that we make this transition as seamless as possible, which means we need you.
This does not mean that you have to be available 24/7 or constantly checking your phone. If you’re off for a day or a week, we will continue rolling along. We just need to know when you are going to be AFK so we can plan around it.
If you do a lot of forward-facing daily-life posts on social media, your assigned manager will need access to your calendar so we can maintain authenticity of interactions. (ie. if a fan asks what we’re doing tomorrow, we don’t want to say “nothing, just chilling” when you’re posting about how excited you are to get a new tattoo or are traveling to Singapore.)
What will my chatters be like?
You will have a team of four to five chatters, all American (for cultural fit and references), all with English as their first language. They will cover your account for twelve hours a day, providing regular updates in your Slack channels, and likely making silly jokes with each other.
How involved will I be?
Ideally, you will be fairly involved. The more you are available to your team and your manager, the more we can do for you. This mostly means having your Slack notifications on for when someone needs to get in contact with you. We can go fully hands-off, but having a good relationship with our clients helps us get to know you and your fans better.
The Application and On-Boarding Process
Why is your application so… odd?
The application is purposefully unusual so we can determine if you would be a fit for us. Yes, we need the normal basic information, but we also need to know if our personalities will mesh and that we will be happy representing your brand.
Can I speak with one of your current clients?
If we like your application and the initial interview goes well, we will introduce you to one of our current clients so you can hear about their experience with us.
What does the on-boarding process look like for me?
Your assigned representative will get on a call with you and, essentially, interview you. They will be getting information on your brand, your fans, your history, your likes, your dislikes, your price points, your customs, your current content schedule, your goals, and your boundaries. It will be a long call, but we want to make sure that we know everything we need to in order to run your pages and grow your brand.
Your assigned representative will also go through how we organize your content, what data we give you at the end of the month, what we can do with that data, and answer any questions you have regarding our backend practices.
Once that is done, we will add you to the company Slack and introduce you to your team. You will not be managing them–that’s what your representative is for–but we find it helpful for you to know your team.
Services Questions
Why do you offer so many different services?
Because not everyone needs–or wants–the same things. There are so many amazing creators out there that wouldn’t be helped by total page management, but would be greatly benefited by having chat coverage, queue coverage, or temporary coverage. They shouldn’t be forced into full page management when they don’t want it.
What if I sign up for one service now but want to change to another later?
Not a problem! You can change from one service tier to another, we just need advanced warning so we can start the process.
Why are you guys so focused on organization?
Imagine OnlyFans (or LoyalFans, or Fansly) as a giant mall full of clothing stores. A shopper (fan) walks into your store and asks for a black short-sleeved t-shirt. If you know exactly where it is, you can sell it right away. If you spend ten minutes in the back digging for it, he’s probably going into your competitor’s store next door and buying it.
In sum: content organization is vital to sales.
If I want the Partial Service – Chatting tier, can I opt out of organization?
Unfortunately, no. Our chatters need to easily be able to find what they’re looking for. That means we need organization that is consistent across all the clients we chat for.
If I want the Partial Service – Queueing tier, can I opt into organization?
Absolutely! There will be an additional fee, but this is 100% something we can do for you.
Miscellaneous Questions
How do I know you’re safe to work with and not another predatory or scammy agency?
You don’t, not off the bat. But if your application gets accepted and our video meeting with you is positive, we will put you in contact with one of our current clients, who can answer your questions and hopefully lay some of your anxieties to rest. The majority of management agencies are incredibly terrible to their models, so we know we have to work to earn your trust–we don’t expect it immediately, especially if you’ve been burned by an agency before.
Is there anything that you don’t do, content- and sexting-wise?
In the realm of legal content, we are very pro-fetish and kink. However, we do not do race play. Yes, that includes BBC talk or content.
Why don’t you do that?
The fetishization of non-white bodies is a massive problem that causes lasting social damage. You can read more about this in these articles.
Why don’t you manage social media like some other agencies?
How you present yourself on social media is the north star of how we represent your brand. We want to make sure that you are the one setting the tone of your brand, not us. We’re here to assist your brand’s growth, not take over your brand.
